For the price of those machines I'm still not taking a chance. I bought my 6500 4 years ago and that's what the dealer told me.

Great idea & I bet cheaper than the ones sold in sewing dept. I have a blue 1 that have had for at least 15 yrs. got it from a consultant when I was working as secretary. at Christmas time we would list 3 things we really wanted & would then draw her name. This lady didn't have the faintest idea of what I was talking about. She later said she had to ask someone. So funny!!!

Only $3.99 at Harbor Freight. Just keep them away from your sewing machine. If it is computerized it can destroy it's memory. If it isn't it can magnetize some of the parts. Ask me how I know. Ann in TN

I took my DH and i put my pins in it and he looks at it and says that reminds me of something I had once. LOL

I had three but gave them to my DH for the automotive half of his workshop. I was worried about keeping them near my computerized sewing machine because the magnets were so strong.
