quilting room transformed
#1
I have been working hard the last week on rearranging and cleaning and sorting my fabrics, projects and sewing equipment. I moved a desk upstairs to be a cutting area. I put a lot of my fabric on boards and turned my quilting machine around so it faces the middle of the room.
I usually make a huge mess before I clear the clutter. I didn't want to show pictures until I was finished because it was such an awful mess for a few days. I may have to wait for my pictures to be imported before I can post them. Can't wait to start sewing again but need to do my desk first.

Wonderful!! My quilt machine got "moved" to basement with just enough space to walk around it OVER 100 boxes line walls yet to be organized and unpacked. Lost our 40'by 80 foot building that was home to my quilt shop and archery store-- Thousands of magazines and quilt books plus bolts and bolts of fabric.Wasn't much help in moving because had cast on foot and sons and hubby upset because of bankruptcy so things just moved no thought was 2 months before had courage to venture "down" now just have clutter blindness and only go to do other lady's quilts You have inspired me to get with the program Thanks for sharing

Yikes, I just looked at my sewing room. I need to heed my own words. :)
