Joan, is it okay if I go ahead and mail my center to you? I know it's not due til the 15th, but I'd like to get some of the stuff I've been working on out of here.

hi all, calling in on the last day of the year!!
what are you all up to tonight??
dh & i are meeting heather (dd1) after some of her morning clients this lunchtime to take her to her fav' italian restaurant. heather works for the same company as myself and will be working this evening.
we're all spending 'Hogmanay' with rachael (dd2) and phoebe at her place, so phoebe can settle in her own cot.
we're cooking a roast leg of lamb with garlic & rosemary, playing some games and watching 'hootenanny' on the tv until the bells come in.
heather won't be able to join with us this year, hence the meal out at lunchtime between clients. it's shame, poor lass. but that's working in 'care' it's a 24/7 job. i'm just lucky that my clients don't require me tonight! it may not be the case next year though!!
have a wonderful 'hogmanay' everyone, and see you next year!!
love jacquie xxxx

Just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. DH and I are staying home and behaving ourselves tonight. Plan on doing some sewing - just like every other night. If you're out and about tonight, be safe.

I am getting onto this thread for the first time and I have to laugh. I have spent the last two hours designing a center to do the sawtooth star similar to yours... without even knowing you were doing one! My colors are different, but the design is very close. How cool! As soon as I get mine sewn, I will post a picture. I plan on working on it tomorrow!

Well, I've just learned we have this thread and a name!! I have been reading and reading and is seems about two months behind. I wish I had know you were all here and working and posting pictures.
I recieved Judy G's center about a week ago and have just finished the first row for her.
I asked her about seeing a picture and that's how I found out you were here. Now for the picture! I'll get it right now and be right back.....

gosh it's my fault joan... i looked back through my sent emails, and i can only apologise that your name isn't on the 'cc' part of the email addresses.
i feel really, really awful!!
i thought you were quiet!! maybe due to christmas festivities and maybe getting your center ready!

i'm so so sorry joan, it certainly wasn't intentional!!

wow!!! what a gorgeous, bright and cheerful quilt this one will be!!
a lovely choice of fabrics!!! and you've used the kaleidoscope block! what a lovely idea!!
