Your blocks are lovely! I am doing the Spiderweb quilt blocks from www.quiltville on telephone pages too. It is a very fun method and the paper tears out easily. You sew your fabric strips on to cover the paper and then turn the page over to trim the block to the page edges.

Great idea to use the phone book pages. Does any of the ink ever rub off? I have been using the sandwich wrap papers that cafes use. I get it at Cash and Carry

I'm making one similar but am using 8 1/2" x 11" paper. The fabrics are my blue scraps with dark blue as the center strip. It will eventually be a queen size quilt. I REALLY like your color combination.

I haven't noticed any ink..even if it does it will be on the wrong side of the fabric. So I'm not too worried about it....Yet.. =)

I haven't noticed ink either but I am careful not to use steam or spray starch just for that reason.
