    Walmart. Not all the Walmarts carry it. it's cotton 3/16" x 100 ft. There is also a synthetic 7/32" x 100ft. that you can use. the cotton rope is thinner. the other one is slightly thicker, I have used both. I prefer the thinner one. I use a denim/jeans needle. I used a triple stitched zig-zag stitch (less wide than the default size) 40 weight thread.Oh, If your local Walmart does have it- it might be in one of two departments- craft or hardware. I'm waiting for my Walmart to replenish the stock--I cleaned them out 2 weeks ago. Several of my friends are making placemats- coasters-beachbags. I'm sticking to rugs. I'm going to try to make a matching rug for every quilt I make!.

    Good color, I love greens in any shade, and love the recycled part too.

    A great idea to recycle. I'll have to take a gander in my closet. I know I could clear out a few things. Thanks for the inspiration.
