While I've not been a fan of Sunbonnet Sue, this one is so cute. Maybe because Sue is doing something rather than standing alone. I have started redwork blocks but can't seem to stick with them. Ithink maybe because they move slowly in my hands and I like to experience a little faster results.
Also a Jane in AZ. Scottsdale

Wow! That is gorgeous! what beautiful blocks, and the sashing and border just set it off right.

I finished a double-sized red work quilt about six years ago and gave it to my daughter. It took me about 4 years embroidering it (off and on). She absolutely loves it. I love the ladies and their attire fits into the era of the origins of red work. Thanks for sharing.
