I've had one of these for my schnauzers but haven't gotten the courage to attempt it...your's turned out beautifully...hmmm maybe if I can find mine....

Got to ask ... is Dash a show-dog? The photo of him standing looks like a stacked photo one would use in an advertisement. He looks stacked, groomed and in terrific condition! Nice looking Corgi.

Hi Sue,

Yes, he is CH Carterhall Commander N Chief RN. The stacked picture I used to get his color correct was taken professionally about a week after he finished his Championship. His breeder arranged the photoshoot since they hadn't been able to get a picture with the judge at the show.

Currently, he is a champion lapdog. I will eventually clean him off and show him again - as AKC now offers a Grand Champion title. But my son is a hockey player, so all our time and $$ is going there.

My son took the picture I used for the portrait - one of those lucky shots we all envy - Dash was draped across my lap at the time.
