    Thank you! I think I started out with a yard and a half of each color, and I have a fair amount left over. This was Connecting Threads Seconds fabric, which was great fabric and not flawed as advertised. My shortage came with the background fabric. The fabric was directional, and the directions had a misprint in directions that I didn't catch in time.

    I did add a one inch strip between the rows. I chose that initially to try to make the quilt big enough and found I liked the way it brought the colors out!
