What a great idea to use varigated thread for the back. Beautiful quilt. I have been wanting to try a QAYG - this has inspired me.

That is so very lovely. I have what may seem to some (or all) a dumb question, but here goes: Do people ever do the applique after the quilt is sandwiched? It seems to me it would do the applique and quilting at the same time. Please don't laugh. I am really serious.

Wonderful work!! The colours are beautiful and the stitching on the backing makes it so unique! Absolutely lovely!!

Just a few questions: Are the applique pieces hand cut or die cut? What is a 'triple' stitch?

Please keep us posted on how the show goes

Gorgeous! The sashing and border fabric blends so well with the blocks. Lots of time and effort went into this beauty! Thanks for sharing.
