The first one is a block from a book called Wedgeworks from Cheryl Phillips. I love this book! I have made several things from it and will make more in the future. (I have an endless imagination) This was the first time that I had done that particular block. The book also comes with a wedge ruler that you need to make the blocks.

If you get the book, let me know if you need any help.

They are all growing so beautiful and lovely!

I was trying to find out who did the butterfly border for Terri's block, and where/how did you come up with making those little butterflies?

I've been learning so much about borders from watching these quilts grow I've become so much more aware of options for borders! :D Thanks to all of you!

Ok Dawn, since the strip border I was going to put on was giving me a fit, I decided against it.
Will be sending your square out to Imaquilter tomorrow, hopefully......

Mareliba's block looks great in the photographs, but they don't do it justice.

I saw the center pic in thre thread, but when it arrived at my house, I couldn't believe it.

Colors, dimensions, geometry, none of that can be appreciated in the picture.

The same with Dawn's blocks. They just look like a whole bunch of different color blocks, but you don't see the half of it in the picture. It's ten times more impressive in person.

I agree! Mareliba's center scared the crap outta me when I first saw a picture of it. Didn't know WHAT I was going to do with it and certainly didn't want to screw it up.
Same with Dawns. It might have started as a bunch of little squares, but it's turned into one GIANT beautiful piece!
The pictures don't do them justice. The colors that are in these things are absolutely awesome!
