    That is a beautiful quilt. I have several that I have made that I can't part with. I have them stacked on my "Princess and the pea" bed. Every once in a while I switch them around so the top one is a different one.

    I would hate to see it go as well. I probably would have already put it on my own bed. I hope the couple receiving it will appreciate it.

    That is a beauty. I made one quilt last year that I told my daughter I would hold on to it for a few years and then she could have it. I will keep some on hand and then give them out so I won't get too many.

    Attachment to SOME? I am attached to all of them! By the time I piece or applique, then quilt a quilt, I have a lot of myself into it! BUT....I enjoy giving them as gifts...otherwise I'd just have a pile in a closet somewhere...can't keep them all!
