I just finished this quilt for the neighbor's sweet little girl who will be a year old next month. I added the strips to the sides of the faces to make the blocks 9 inches. I did stitch in the ditch quilting, and freemotion outlined the faces.

I hope it becomes her favorite "drag around" blankie!

I just LOVE this quilt! I've admired those fabrics for quite a while, but didn't have any babies that needed quilts. Sadie will love this--so colorful and fun! Well done!

Thanks Harmony! I saw the panels and loved them, wasn't sure what I was going to do with them when I bought them. And I still have some left for another quilt sometime.

So bright and beautiful! Truly a work of art, I am sure that little lady is going to love it!

Did you use a template for the faces or are they your own creation?

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! Kinkajou, the faces are cut from a pre-printed panel called Peek-A-Boo Baby by Amy Bradley. I just cut them out and added the strips to the sides to make them 9" blocks.
