The gold on the package no longer shines, the strings of the swing are frayed, if you aren't careful the mouse head falls out of the package. But you know, that thing MUST hang in that archway for it to be Christmas
My family has the same type of must-have for Christmas. My best friend and maid of honor at my wedding gave us a stuffed Santa about 10" high. He has been out every Christmas since. I've discussed with my daughters who wants what when I die. The ONLY thing they both want is Santa. He's in my will--the girls (they're in their 40s) are to share & switch off every year. Older daughter gets him the 1st year, younger the next.

What a wonderful tradition your family has. And what a beautiful quilt to honor this tradition. I love it.

Welcome to the board first off. And secondly, I love this quilt, so unique. And a fmily tradition. I need to do one in ornaments because I give ornaments to everyone agt Thanksgiving every year. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
