    I like option 2 because it looks very elegant. I also like option 3 for the same reason. Both are very beautiful.

    Definitely # 2 on the borders. As to the sashing it is hard to tell because the other views show lines around the blocks that will not be there. So for that reason, my preference would be to go with a thin sashing because it would define each block, otherwise they will float. So I think that would depend on the look you or she likes.

    Thanks to everyone for your input. Looking at the responses, I am going with number 2. Did I mention that I LOVE THIS BOARD?? I DO, I DO.

    I like option two the best. I think the other options appear to make the black look washed out while the black border seems to bring it out.
