Black gets my vote.. My daughter got a black on white, white on black quilt for Christmas last year. She loved it...

I like the black. The white seems to disappear. I like the drama of the black.

Beautiful. I think the black makes everything more dramatic and stands out better. If you're looking for a softer look then the white works , but it sort of fades into the quilt and doesn't define as well. Either way, I don't think you can miss. remember, keep quilting.
