I loved the story behind the scrappy quilt. Beautiful job, both in the telling and in the quilting.

I totally enjoyed your narrative and family album story! You are so right. The quilt is beautiful and the quilting too.

It was her that the quilt told me it wanted to go to. She does SOOOO much for our family, never hesitates to jump in when anyone needs help , even though she could have just walked away , she never did. Just like a scrap, she was a left over, who helps make our family stronger and more beautiful for choosing to be a part of it !
The cousin sounds like she fits right in with all the wonderful things you said about the quilt. Left-overs are always special.
Wonderful quilt, might have to put it on my list to do.

You just have to keep that one. The story with it can be handed down forever.

Beautiful quilt. You not only have a way with scraps but as been noted you also have a way with words. Your narrative was awesome. Thank you for sharing both. I am thankful to be a part of the whole that makes up this quilting family. BrendaK
