I see 16 snowballed corners per star. It has nothing to do with the blocks interlocking. 16 blocks with 16 snowballed corners totals 256 which I agree with Judy is a lot! Very pretty quilt and worth the effort.

Hi, Lynnie. Thanks. I have a ton of scraps, not a lot of yardage. Can't seem to use them up!

Love the pattern, and your quilt is wonderful! I have a couple of Kim Bracketts books and ScrapBasket Surprises has the Bali Sea Star pattern in it.

I believe this is a Kim Brackett pattern. She is one of my favorite authors and I have made several of her quilts. I recognize that pattern. You made a lovely quilt.

At least I think the name of the pattern is Sea Star. Can't remember where the pattern came from, what book or magazine. But I'm pleased with the way it turned out. But waaaaay too many little snowballed corners! Thanks for looking.
It looks like a Kim Bracket pattern. Not sure which book.

Great use of scraps! I enlarged the picture because I thought there were HST's. So when Just Jan said there were 16 snowballed corners per star, I had to figure it out. Lol!
