Yes - I originally did one out of scraps and showed it to my mom and she liked it so much that she wanted to make one. So she went out and bought all brand new fabric....I had to laugh...I told her she was suppose to use her scraps up...she didn't get it.
Haha, that's so funny :D
I love those fabrics and what a pretty block!
Only thing- that maroon really doesn't seem to go with all those yummy fabrics (to me, no offense!)

The colors are so pretty. Just the right sashing would set them off pretty-can't wait to see what you come up with.

What a family treasure!!!! I think it's even better because both you and your mom sewed it. A joint project, and something that will make both of you smile every time you see it.

Really pretty blocks. What a nice gift for Mom. She is sure to love it especially since shc chose the fabrics. You're soing a great job finishing her work.

I think your sashing is way too dark. Try a softer color. It just kills the beautiful quilt.
