Thank you for sharing. I am glad you explained the 'scruffy part'. I looked, thought the seams are on the outside? no they can't be, I am blind as a bat (not an untruth either).. then I read the posts and it made me smile. I AM NOT THAT BLIND AFTER ALL! I think you will end up with that 'rag' quilt top look after a bit of wear and washing? I have a feeling that one will be a curl up on the couch blanket and no one will feel bad using it which is a good thing right?

I finished this quilt top for my daughter but I cut my own material, she wanted black,red and white. how do you plan on quilting yours?

No...I can't sew at work....I only work 2-3 days a week. SO sometimes I might stay late and long arm. But on MOnday-WED i am free to do what I want during the day while kids are gone to school...so that is when I usually get the bulk of my sewing done. I also sew at night after they go to bed.....I don't get alot of sleep.
