Our church ladies are Secret Pals throughout the year. Our revealing party is next Tuesday and I'm so proud it's not Monday night with me sewing until 2 AM! I've made two rag quilts - baby size - and this is my third regular quilt to finish. It's about 50 inches square. I struggle with bindings and did this without any - used the "pillowcase" method instead. (Sew right sides together on 3 1/2 sides then turn right side out and stitch the opening closed.) I'll do more like this - I even like the way it looks and really like how easy it was. The borders are quilted with "stitch near a ditch" and the center has diagonals through the blocks.

Thanks for all I learn from all of you! I already wouldn't do so many things again that I did here, but it's all about the learning and I know the lady who will get it won't care a bit about the flaws I see.

Very nice...what size did you make your borders??? They look really nice! I am doing borders today and trying to decide how wide...I like yours.
