Love those colorful baskets. Using scraps, or selvages is a great idea, much more economical than using yardage like I did. I took a class, though, so just followed the instructions!

Aren't they fun to do! I too bought the clothesline at Walmart..works fine......did this a few years ago..to the point of obsession....went so far as to buy a gadget from Ami Simms that helped wrap the cord.....( don't know if she still has)' used that once or twice, then on to something else......may dig it out, find box of strips and do some for holidays.....

Those are so much fun to make. Your's looks great. I always chuckle to myself when I think of the clothesline. I call it cheap Chinese Canadian American clothesline. My favorite brand is made in China, imported to Canada then imported to the US. It's the one with the black, white and red label. J's used to sell it. They may still have it. Someone from my Guild figured out at the time (several years ago) that a special order counted as one unit whether you were purchasing one item or two dozen. So one coupon could be used on as many as you wanted to order if you picked up in the store. Need I say, I purchased about 3 dozen and have enough clothesline to cover the house in it.
