    Default Selvage Wrapped Basket

Crafty Gemini Creates presents a weekly tutorial on Wednesdays. Here is a link to sign up for them:http://craftygeminicreates.com Crafty Gemini is not new to a lot of us but I enjoy her new format and the weekly tute. You will see that her site links you to MSQC for supplies-what a smart partnership for Jenny and Vanessa!

I opened the tutorial for the fabric wrapped basket using the clothesline. Having just sorted through my selvage stash, I had come across a bag a friend gave me- unfortunately they were too narrowly cut for my selvage project ... BUT I could use them to wrap a clothesline basket. If you look closely, you will see the dots and text on the selvages.

We were taught this technique in my Senior quilting group. We made coasters.

Calla, needle size is 90-14 or 100-16. I used a 100-16 because that is what I had.

you did a beautiful job on it. I too want to make one, but right now, i'm trying to clean out the room, not add to it. Such a cute little thing!
