It was left plain and was beautiful! I would go crazy trying to do something like that.

Here's a picture of the Pilgrim Rest Church where we displayed the quilts:

And here's a picture of the Shoppach House itself (taken a few months ago back in the winter):

During the quilt show, we had Grover and Betty Smith providing folk music in the house. You can see some quilts displayed in there as well:

:D Oh I had such a good time at your quilt show in the historical park. Like a few of the ladies said, it is really special to see them in the park. They look like they belong there.

I imagine keeping up the park is a lot of work. Good job, eddie. The past is worth preserving for the future generations to see.

Thanks for a good time!

Eddie,
Thank you so much for sharing these with us they are dynamic. I really like the one toward the bottom, not sure if its a Carpenters Wheel or Lamoyne Star within the wheel, not sure what its called I'm sure some of the more experienced people here know, but I love all the hand stitching, what a labor of love..... Also the BOM with the reds and greens I believe is designed by
Marti Michell, one of the gals I take classes with is thinking about doing it for the next BOM she offers. It is really striking.
thanks again for sharing,
Muriel
