A simple quilt I'm progress for six months and I don't know what to do with it...

This is pretty and colorful, which I think would be great for a baby. I can just see a child sitting in the middle of it, or lying on their tummy and looking at all the colors, and trying to pick the flowers up.

I do know what you mean, though, about not loving something and taking out all the quilting. I started to do the same but my whole family GASPED! Thankfully they saved me from spending all that time. My granddaughter asked me if she could have it, so I will now finish it and let her do whatever with it. It is a wall hanging size.

I usually hang my baby quilt/wallhanging size on one of two places in my home until I need a gift or until I have lots more to hang...then I bring it down, wash, label for gift, wrap and give...the hangings are really the same size, basically and i'm not much for 'cutesy' for babies...i like to give bright and dark colors for kids' quilts so they are more practical.
