    I think your quilt is beautiful. Great job. I agree with you generally about raw edge, but sometimes it does the job beautifully.

    yes, I have painted with oils,tried water colors , could not get the hang of it, so I gave it up.
    I also did this scene in oils, it was a lot of fun
