Oh I just love this....it is amazingly effective....can you explain about the uneven 9 patch again..... :? m Do you mean that the centre cross is wider than the two outside edges???

Karla, its not hard at all! Its just an uneven 9 patch and alternate block. Pretty much a no brainer.
It's a single Irish Chain. They don't come any easier.
I don't think lining up all those seams is easy!! I have to rely on a trusty magnet to hold my 1/4 seam.

All those little quite blocks in a nice neat row made me pass it by. :roll: Mark chose a different pattern... maybe I'll let him decide if he likes this one better. :D

It looks just awesome all together. I don't see a block I'd move.

Sure Izy, These are the cut measurements: Center sq is 2 1/2 in sq, the corners are 1 3/4 in sq and the colored pieces are 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 in rectangles.
I didnt strip peice it, which was sort of a pain but these were all cut from 5" in charms sqs, but it would be very easy to strip peice it!
does this make sense?
