To see the joy on ones face when they receive a quilt to keep them warm! God has given you such a wonderful gift and you have listened to HIM. It brings me such joy when you know that someone apprecitates a quilt or even a personal item.
Thank you for sharing this with us and God Bless you and your sister.
I go to Guatemala where I now have a son living there. It is a third world country there. It just is so heart breaking to see a family of 5 living in one big room with mattress on the floor. 4 sleeping on the matress. Some have cement floor and some have clay floors. The children just love my son and his family there. He teaches them music, sings to them, reads the bible and teaches english in the school out there. My son is very instrumental and the children love to hear the music and sing. It brings me great joy to hear them when I talk with him on the phone. We here in the USA are so Blessed. I apprecitate the love that one has in his or her heart to help others. God has already blessed you for sure. Its such a great feeling giving and not expecting something in return. Blessing to you and your family. You surely r a blessing to many. Merry Christmas to all. Blessing

Doesn't this make you feel really good - deep down inside? Until you've experienced something like this, you'll not really know how much it affects you!

    Bless you!

Those quilts will be bringing them lots of warmth and happy memories of getting to choose their own quilt.

You should feel so good at this time of year!

A gifted quilt does not have to be perfect. Have you heard the CW song about the little girl with the doll? "She isn't perfect, but she's beautiful."? Its the same with quilts, and donations are so wonderful. Thank you for all your hard work
