I am a Hospice nurse, and just wanted to let you know how much these gifts mean to our patients. I just want to say thank you even tho you arnt in my area, I know what it means to the patients and also families in the final days.

The In & Out is really simple. Cut lots of bright colored pieces 6 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide. Add 2" strips to all the sides that are 6 1/2" long. (This makes the width now 6 1/2" also - whalla - a 6 1/2" square.) Then just alternate the resulting blocks - one with black strips going sideways, one with black strips going up and down, etc.
Thank You! I don't know why I couldn't see that. I was trying to make something simple a lot more complicated. Usually I am very good at figuring them out. All I can think of is that the really beautiful bright colors had me distracted. This one looks fast and simple. My kind of project! Ann in TN
