Here's my beginning efforts in quilting. My avatar is a paper-pieced wall quilt (20x20) that I took a class for at Sister's.

    Great quilts!

I especially like the firehouse dogs. Did you make your own patterns?

I'm sure your daughter loves them all. How lucky she is.

The firehouse dogs was from a book called "10-20-30 Minutes to Quilt." I added more to it to make it big enough for my grandson.

The kimono quilt is an original design by a woman in our guild here.

The Amish quilt block is from Marcia Cohen's website Quilt Blocks Galore.

Oops! Guess I should have made it clearer. I've adopted a newbie here on the quilt board. A bunch of us have adopted a newer quilter to help them out when they need it! I adopted Turtlerogue and I put up the pictures so she could see some of my first quilts!

They are all beautiful. I love the fabric choices on the kimono quilt, and the bright colors in the third one really pop.
