Default Son's wedding quilt

I bought this quilt as a kit on Ebay. It wasn't full size so I searched until I found fabrics to add borders to make it larger. Well, I offered it to my son and his fiancé as a wedding gift. They took me up on the offer, so I had to add more borders to make it a queen. I think it ended up with nine borders! I quilted it on my Innova longarm with Baptist fans. My son was married in July, and this quilt now graces their bed, along with their cats!!

What a lovely quilt to give to your son & daughter in law --- I bet they absolutely love it! The borders look like they were always a part of the quilt. Beautiful!

Your search was very successful and the quilt looks like it was planned that way! Congrats to the newly married couple and I bet they love their quilt!!

It turned out great and you would never know that the borders were not part of the original plan!

You did a great job with the borders. I like that they are more than long strips of fabric.
