I see these fabrics and I think conservative, sophisticated....I am not sure why? The colors? But I love them. I especially love that bias stripe! That bolt sold out first in our shop.

I quilted this with a floral motif...I tried to sort of mimic the flowers and leaves in the fabric. I added a few swirls. I struggled with what to quilt in the final border..in the end I looked at the fabric and mitered corners that made a lines all the way around the quilt. SO I followed each of those lines to create texture.
Texture....again my favorite word.

Again simple sophisticated design..it all comes together nicely.

I quilted this with black batting.

I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA.

Beautiful and I like the back just as much as the front. I think those flowers you quilted would translate very nicely to other quilts too.
