    I like them both but I tend to favor the 2nd, the purples bring together the purples in the boarder fabric. I think I too would make the center a little bigger and maybe fussie cut the center block to get more of the flower.

    I think that would depend on what kind of look you are going for, Both are nice.

    I almost wasn't going to post to this thread as I really like them both and I wouldn't have been any help. You have done a beautiful job on both of them. I do like the color combo on the first star, but...........is there any purple in the teal? Love the teal and tan, but the color combo in the second one seems to me to fit better. Lot of help right. What ever you choose I know that it will be beautiful. Look forward to seeing the finished quilt. BrendaK

    I love them both, though partial to the Lamoyne Star, with your choice of floral fabric and design, it is really a hard choice. Sure which ever way you choose it will be beautiful

    Personally, I like one the best. Love the stairs and I much prefer no center block.

    Like them both, but #2 with the flowers just sticks out better.Love to see this one when you finish it. Thanks for sharing.

    I think you should use both. I really liked feline's suggestion on page 1. Will be really beautiful.

    I like #2 best ! Both are very nice , but #2 just strikes my fancy .
