Your comment made me smile...and remember: ALL those years I bought only the cheapest fabric on sale, or shopped at thrift sales--which I still do sometimes. Now I mostly buy batiks - the fabric I LOVE. But I STILL look for a good bargain. Have gotten some great batik buys on eBay.

Just one warning about pins.. I got out some yardage that I had stashed with pins holding yardage tags only to find that the pins had corroded a bit and were "stuck.." in the fabric.. I know climate control (heat and ac) help with this.. but just a warning if the fabric might not be used for some time. You might try rubber bands.

when i last went to get fabric i noticed the clerk folded the end over at an angle and used the tip of it to tuck into the rest on the bolt.
    no pins!!

I got a set of these from purpleman and love them. Someday I will actually use them!
I only got 50 as anything under a yard will go in a plastic milk crate like she does secured with a pony tail holder.
If I have more than 50 pieces of fabric more than a yard that's too much and I better get sewing.
I also picked up some of the big vinyl coated paper clips to use instead of pins. I didn't check walmart but got them at a CVS drug store.
I don't expect to have any rust or corrosion problems with these.
    :-D

I also use the rubber coated paper clips. But the greatest thing of all is, now I USE my stash, so it doesn't stay as long on the bolt! It is so motivating!

Thanks MJ for my order! Anyone that is thinking of getting these....do! They are great! MJ is the best to make sure these orders get to you! I was neglectful and forgot to change my mailing address in PayPal so the delivery slip went to the old address and they sent them back. MJ offered to send me out a new order w/o knowing where my old order was. All's well that ends well and I ended up buying double my order and I'm very happy I did cuz I'm going through them fast! MJ you are such a sweet lady!
