Very nice I will trade you my corner under our tv and beside the dinning room table that sits in the living room. This is a crazy house. You have nice light in your basement. It will work and as you say you can spread out...have fun

Wonderful space! I am jealous! My DH has gone out of his way to convert our DS's old bedroom into a nice cozy sewing room and it is wonderful, but I just got a Juki on a frame...it is now set up in the dining room until we clean out our DD's old basement bedroom. It is amazing how much space those frames take up!
I love the knotty pine. So nice you have a space to spread out and to spend creative time with your friends.

Holy crap Batman, I read your spiel first before looking at the photo and I was expecting well, not much! Then I looked at the photo and I think you have a great room! I'm impressed with it, very spacious and roomy, I like it!!!!!!

What a fantastic space! You've got room to spread out forever! Don't worry about the decorating now--a quilting room is always kind of a work in progress. As you go along you'll be able to figure out how you want to set things up, and once you do, you'll probably have a few "ah-ha" moments and change it all around again! Once things have found where they belong, then you can worry about decorating. In the meantime, enjoy your fabulous quilting space--what freedom!
