    Oh it is a wonderful background, isn't it.

    What do you like, what do you enjoy.

    I would put flowers in because flowers make me happy. I would also be happy with butterflies. But what makes you happy.

    For fast app;ique, Walmart had some really pretty butterfly fabric, lots of colors and sizes on one piece, even a slight glitter. Some of those, vines and flowers would look great.

    This would be a great quilt to fill each block with a different background fill, kind of a sampler of quilting.

    I vote for the vines and flowers..... will make your quilt pop. You could fussy cut fabric flowers. Some really great things could be done with this quilt.... good luck and hope to see the great results from all the ideas you have been given..... looking forward to seeing the end result.

    I was thinking the same thing. You could really show off quilting in those blocks. It's beautiful in it's simplicity.
