I love the colors. The pattern is great! Good luck on the quilting. All I know how to do is stitch in the ditch and cross-hatching, so probably the suggestions of using the painter's tape is what I woud have to do.

I agree Mary Ann.......I used painters tape for the first quilt I quilted, and I was very pleased with the results.

Your first top is gorgeous !
I'd suggest some large swirls,please post when your finished.

For ME, a new machine quilter, I can't quite get the meandering down (even when i'm doodling!) so I would avoid that. I love spirals and loops and "waves" and things like that. But to avoid crossing over? I'm helpless! And I can't manage that soft curve, either. Mine end up with sharp points!

Meander would work, but I would be inclined to do stitch in the ditch on this.
