Magnificently executed. I think you may have also been influenced by Green Fairy?? Kind of reminds me of some things she has done. You did a wonderful job on this. So sorry about the yellow chalk. I had that happen to me once on a T-shirt quilt and never did get it out. But it was raffled off so I don't know if multiple washings eventually got it out or not. I swore off yellow chalk then. Only use white and occasionally blue.

Your quilt is gorgeous!!!! Sorry the yellow chalk won't come out. Maybe it will with further washing but if not....have you thought of getting the fabric markers and making the marks part of the design? I have seen more and more quilts where they colour in or embellish quilts with coloured ink and wonder if it would work on your quilt.

Also beware the Fons and Porter water soluble graphite pencils. While they mark great and come out of the fabric great, it is another tool that imbeds in the thread! I eventually got it out but was sweating bullets until it did and I swear I could still see a shadow of gray on my white thread. the product worked fine when i was using a colored thread but did not play nice with white! I pretty much stick to my water soluble blue markers or the air disappear purple ones.
