Thanks everyone so much! I sure appreciate the wonderful feedback I always get from you!
Someone PM'ed me about the X quilt and I am going to post some more pics here of the construction since the directions were hard for them and maybe for others too so I hope this will make it easier to understand how I put this quilt together.
I actually got the idea from another quilt I had done. Anyway, in this earlier picture that I'm glad I have, you can see the vertical separation of the panels on the design wall. It looks like I've joined the star blocks already with the horizontal sections and I have one long vertical panel to join to the right side.

Here is the actual construction pic of the quilt -- the Star block alternates with an intersection!
When the 4 intersections come together, (I've left a space in the drawing so you can see that clearly) you will have an empty space and a 4P will fit perfectly in! This is where you add the 1 4P and your intersection is complete!
You'll be able to see it in the drawings I've done.

Do you see how I left the yellow lines broken in the middle so you can see where that (1) 4P goes? It will connect all 4 quadrants together!!
