I think it is great for a child, definitely not too bright. The applique looks wonderful also.

I am a few years away from being a teenager ... full disclosure, I'm 69. But I would love that quilt for myself. I am drawn to bright colors. Bright colors make me happy and energize me. I always enjoy seeing your quilts and especially admire your quilting skills. Another great one, thanks for sharing.

I love the hot colors and the exuberant pattern. I guess the six-year-old girl in me lurks just below the surface. Beautiful! Viva los colores!
