    That is a quilt he will treasure forever!! My grandson got one this year -- made from a Cars panel on one side and a Spiderman panel on the other. Each panel was quilted independently. He loves it. He wants to be a "weal supa hero" when he grows up. Don't you just love the enthusiasm the kids have for their treasures!

    Penny - good idea with the spare parts bag for future repairs. I'll have to wait until he and his cousin stop using my scraps for capes and other costume parts. Amazing what they can do with some scraps and a BUNCH of safety pins.

    I have been trying to come up with an idea for a quilt for the son of a friend of mine. I don't know the little boy very well so was stumped for an idea until I saw this. I just happen to have this same fabric in my stash. I am going to try something similar to this now. Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing.
