    What an awesome quilt! I agree that black or dark blue would be ideal. When I make something, I make a spool block out of whatever fabric I'm using. This is my forever project that will come together somewhere down the road. The spool is the fabric I'm using with a cream colored background.

    Yes!! I cut most of them and talked my DH into cutting some too. I have enought cut for at least two more this size. I got the template from my MIL's stash.

    I like the black, I think it would make the rest of the colors POP off the quilt. I love scrappy quilts they are so cozy feeling I always want to take them and find a quiet corner and curl up with a good book. :thumbup:

    I love this!! I think black or really dark blue would take all the colors in set them off beautifully..Awesome job!
