Thanks everyone for the kind words! It's very encouraging!

I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but the speckled fabric is 'indian corn' and on the log cabin side, the long border fabric is 'eggs'!

if you're picking fabrics in person--try laying your group together showing 2-4"of each. bring the 1st fabric around to cover all but a couple of inches. OR take 2 pcs of white and block them off. stand back - glance,glance away,- glance back. do this several times. This usually is a better method of telling if you like what have picked! when just LOOKING at it on top of others, your eye fills in w/ all the background stuff & confuses you. ABSOLUTEY LOVE WHAT YOU PICKED!!! Good colors & perfect for the pattern!!
