    I'm saving all selvedges too, hope to find a beautiful pattern that looks like your quilt (with good instructions) :roll: .

    Maybe I'll start sewing selvages together when I cut them off a fabric. That way,the "selvage fabric" gets made gradually and one day it'll miraculously be enough to use.

    More likely, I will forget to do that...

    I am sticking head out from behind the wall here and say I do not understand why people make quilts from selvedges. My feelings are, but it's a personal opinion, that the selvedges are often hard and unforgiving in texture so would the quilt be rather stiff to touch? The writing and colour pallettes are also rather odd to see . I respect the skills involved in stitching those pesky bits together, and there must be a sense of satisfaction making somethig from waste. Those thoughts though are not enough to persuade me to make one. Well done for your achievement. I hope my comments are accepted without upsetting anyone.
