Is there any reason for THIS fabric?

I'd probably pick up a fat quarter for a Halloween project.

I have seen what many think as hideous fabric turn out a beautiful quilt. It is always how it is used. I love all the fun fabrics and kids love them.

Maybe I should start a new thread, asking people to post whatever was the most hideous fabric ever!?!

Anyway... this IS from a 2010 Halloween collection, "Eerie Alley", by Robert Kaufman. Here are some other designs in the same collection:

Makes you wonder about the people that design fabrics, doesn't it. Also makes me wonder what bad habits of theirs we are supporting when we buy this! Just a thought...

Well, maybe...

... consider the possibilities.

- They CAN take it with them.
- You don't have to worry that they'll let the dog sleep on it.
- It's your last chance to "get even"... make it colors they'll hate!

Oh, sorry, my imagination just ran a bit wild there.

That's what I was thinking, but wouldn't they want it to be all black?

Ok...I have a son that was into the goth stuff...but I am not sure even for him would I buy fabric with hearses on it. Just a bit too morbid for me.
