Seems a little morbid to me. I don't think I could ever find a reason to use this. Maybe Halloween??

Well, I could let the kid (35 plus yrs.) up the road know about it. He drives a soft blue hearse around town with a license plate that say's, "JUST SLPN". Needless to say, he is a little 'off' but nice as can be and can be funny when not in a mood. .

Who is designing this crappy fabric? This one and the pregnancy ones , seem to be getting quite odd. I can think of alot of other designs that would sell better.

    Okay - I love it. :)
I'm an old punk at heart and think the hearses are adorable! I'd make a ton of stuff with it and set up a booth at one of the funky craft shows that are in the bigger cities...
Having said that I never get to see that kind of fabric in person :( Here in Huntsville we rarely get *cool* fabric..

I think it's adorable! So funky!

My SIL and her hubby are semi-retired from the mortuary business and that would make a perfect gift for her.

Maybe I should start a new thread, asking people to post whatever was the most hideous fabric ever!?!

Anyway... this IS from a 2010 Halloween collection, "Eerie Alley", by Robert Kaufman. Here are some other designs in the same collection:

And two more. They do come in other colors, but you get the idea.

I don't think I'd stock very much of the hearse fabric if I were in charge of purchasing! The Halloween stuff is cute enough, though.

I'd probably pick up a fat quarter for a Halloween project.

I have seen what many think as hideous fabric turn out a beautiful quilt. It is always how it is used. I love all the fun fabrics and kids love them.

Makes you wonder about the people that design fabrics, doesn't it. Also makes me wonder what bad habits of theirs we are supporting when we buy this! Just a thought...
