I'm donating one for an auction this spring at a horse rescue place and will sell the other two. I have no idea what price though. They are a LOT of work.

They are cute. I really like the fringe.

Boy, that fringe has a mind of its own! It's so funny to be spreading it all upwards to iron things down--and separating parts for the forelock. It sticks to my dry hands. But I love the flaxen look. I bought more suede today--a light brown and more gray, and more fringe--they only have cream and white, which works fine. In my hunt for the faux suede, I saw many others fabrics that would make a good horse.

Karla, What a beautiful auction quilt this will be! are there knowledgeable quilters in a LQS or local guild that may be able to give you an appraisal? I made a charity quilt and worked with a quilter who did this. She gave me a free 'rough' appraisal because we had worked together and it was for a charity quilt.
