Nope it is definitely not too old! My husband great-grandmother (GranGran) was learning to quilt and she made a small baby quilt and she was going to give it to her first great-grandchild...my daughter Heather won the quilt prize. It was not colors I would have ever chosen...didn't even look like a baby quilt except for the size. We used it for all four of our kids. It has gotten more use and love than any other quilt or blanket we own. I was in the cedar chest (GranGran's cedar chest) and I found it folded neatly in there waiting for GranGran's great-great-grandchildren to be rocked and cuddled in...someday! :D

I love your baby quilt. The colors are perfect. It seems that everyone is getting away from the traditional "baby quilts" Baby will love it.

I think the quilt is perfect and would make a great wall hanging when she is older

PK...that is a great story. It would be an honor if my family will feel the same about one of mine someday.
