I buy Beneful by Purina for my dogs and I just looked. It has a tinfoil inside which is glued to a thin cardboard layer and the outer layer is the advertising and it is seperated from the cardboard/foil. So yes the one I have anyway could be seperated and reuse the advertising part. That would negate the idea of an easy to do project but it wouldn't be hard to do just take longer.

The outer layer just smells like paper to me. So this one does't stink.

She used OL Roy and that is a differant company so the bag is probably differant.

Maybe there are just some things that are NOT meant to be recycle---- old underwear, used toothbrushes, and dog food bags. LOL

I've used baking soda in a freezer that had been sitting with rotten food in it. It worked! Borax 2000 is supposed to be good for gettting dog ordors out.

I buy cat and 2 kinds of dog food in bags like that. We just put trash in them.

Well, my dogs can't get enough of it. They keep smelling it and hanging around it. I had a Domino Sugar bag a couple weeks ago, plastic, should have done something with that. So we have recycled bacon plastic for templates, dog food bags for totes, now what's next? What can we do with a potato chip bag?

I save my dog food bags for when I need to do yard work and have to get rid of stuff.

It turned out just as I had expected. Everyone else had great visions of a beautiful bag graced with a dog food label. I am like you, I load them with fallout from the laundry room and garage and anything else that needs to be trashed. My mother saved every margarine tub she ever bought and complained that she didn't have enough cupboard space. I had gone to visit her in Michigan and decided to help her clean out her cupboards. She had 2 huge trashbags full of them and was all offended when I asked if she ever used them. She was amazed at her gained space when I saved 2 containers of each size for her. I have been saving my Land O Lakes butter tubs. And one day when I started babysitting the neighbor baby I was looking for something for him to play with. Lo & behold out came the butter tubs. He had a ball stacking them and driving his cars into them. That's the limit of of my recycling; if I don't have immediate use for it, it goes.
