Now that is an idea!! I never dreamt that I would ever make a trade like this! She just asked me if I had a lawnmower for sale and my mind stated spinning and I had two,so I said yes and knowing that she was not doing good at all financially,I made the deal with no cash involved so she would have a lawnmower. So,it worked out great for us both.Plus shae gave me abag of pieces as large as fat quarters. Some bigger.

Actually, she was selling her fabric at a yard sale for $1.00 a yard.I bought a good bit from her and we just became friends and she thanked me telling me that I bought her groceries for the week! She has bins and bins of fabric!! Needless to say,I will go back. She still sews ,but just ran into some hard times and needed some cash. A very nice lady. She used to work at a fabric store and the boss gave her fabric sometimes in place of cash.

It is so nice when life brings us just what we need or want, and what we have to offer is just what the other guy needs or wants. I love those "Plus-Plus" moments of connection with the world!

Working with the fabric will be a whole lot more fun than working with the lawnmower....

That is so true!! I hope that she will be able to sew again after she gets herself squared away.

Wow, what a deal for you, sorry she is having bad times, though. It is good of you to help her out.
