The first thing out of my mouth when I saw the quilt was OHoooooooooooooooooooooooo. It is gorgeous and you are so lucky to have it

Good for you both. The person that threw it away must have not known a thing about quilts or cared. It would be interesting to know the history of the quilt.

Wow what a treasure. So glad she rescued it. Reminds me so much of the quilts my grandmother used to make-so homey. Great job!
